We are now recruiting a Communications Executive to work within the Fragrance and Beauty category and support projects across the wider corporate Communications team when required.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

The Communications Executive will assist the planning, administration, and execution of communications actions to promote the image of CHANEL, our products, and our creators, across all media platforms and local event executions in Australia and New Zealand.

Working with the Senior Communications Lead - FBP, identify appropriate partners and develop relationships to protect and enhance the image of CHANEL, devise and execute seeding activity for the FBP division and deliver events and activity as required.

Competitor and internal reporting are central to this role.

Developing and executing strategies with influencers and KOL’s which support the management and growth of allies and influencers across Chanel Fragrance and Beauty

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Coordinate press kit order from global. Efficient dissemination of press kits to allocated media and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) partners.

  • Day to day inventory management of Fragrance & Beauty cupboard (including packaging) to ensure that minimum stock levels are met. Liaise with Showroom Executive to order additional PR stock when required.

  • Manage all Fragrance & Beauty PR courier requirements – both local & global.

  • Monitor & evaluate all CHANEL Fragrance, Beauty and Skincare editorial coverage across print, digital and social media platforms with the assistance of the media-monitoring platforms (DMR, Meltwater, Lefty).

  • Upload of relevant media clippings to global clippings platform (by campaign).

  • Creation of influencer and KOL specific FBP reports (CHANEL and competitor) with support from the Divisional Communications Executive

  • Liaison with Beauty and Market Editors to respond to all product requests – including sample requests, PR tools, pricing and stockist information and ensure that all requests are responded to in an efficient manner.

  • Assistance with the planning, coordination & execution of all local PR events including on the ground event support.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related discipline

  • Strong understanding of computer literacy (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat)

  • Knowledge of media and social media monitoring software (DMR, Lefty, MeltWater)

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and collaborate

  • Enthusiasm, proactivity, and ability to complex problem solve

  • Curiosity about the role of communications, evolving media landscape and beauty industry in Australia.

  • Previous Experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous.
