CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Team in Albany, NY, where you’ll play a vital role in assessing, rehabilitating, and modernizing critical sewer systems to prevent backups, flooding, and pollution. This is your opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and accelerate your growth from day one.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for sewer system rehabilitation projects
• Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates
• Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for sewer system optimization
• Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of sewer and stormwater systems

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
• No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
• Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
• Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred

Salary Range:

$74,000 - $78,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
