Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.   We are currently seeking a Full-Time Statewide Electronic Health Records Manager to join our regional office team in Columbia, Maryland. 

The Statewide E.H.R. Project Manager works in coordination with the Corporate Director of Electronic Health Records and functions as a point of contact for Facility/System E.H.R. related projects.  This person works with vendors to ensure smooth integration and maintenance of the E.H.R. system.  They work closely with other Centurion departments as they relate to E.H.R. systems.  This person leads E.H.R. system program management, including working with vendors on upgrades/ enhancements, coordinating training, working with external support vendors and other departments within Centurion.  They lead efforts to optimize staff’s utilization of Clinical Technology via the E.H.R. and identify opportunities for clinical process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Hands on experience writing Project Plan, Staffing Plan, Change Management Plan, Requirements Traceability Matrix documents, etc
Experience implementing projects for state agencies a plus
Complete understanding of correctional/ general healthcare standards such as HIPAA, NCCHC, HL7, ICD10 and environments preferred
Knowledge of IT methodologies and interfaces such as SOA, API, etc.
Experience working with secure FTP and file sharing platforms such as Dropbox, Box, etc.
Experience in data reporting, creating and running reports
Understanding of technologies of databases, client/ server applications, PCs and peripherals such as signature pads and scanners
Advanced knowledge of several of the following:  MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio
Three to five years’ experience implementing E.H.R./EMR and other healthcare related systems; three to five years in a clinical environment preferred; three to five years of project management experience preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
