We are currently seeking a part-time Site Medical Director to join our team at Western Illinois Correctional Center located in Mount Sterling, Illinois which is approximately 35 miles from Quincy, IL.
The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director ensures efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
QualificationsQualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain
Active, unrestricted DEA
Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
BC/BE in a primary care specialty is required
Available Shift
Day shift
No nights, holidays or weekends
