Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Jessup Correctional Institution located in Jessup, Maryland.
The LPN dispenses and administers oral, inhalation and topical medications to patients. This person also takes vital signs, assists in examination and treatment and with activities of daily living.
Qualifications
Active LPN license to practice in Maryland
Minimum of one year of work experience as a LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
Experience working in corrections preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available shift: part time, days, 16 hours/week
