Production

From sourcing raw materials to manufacturing, order placement, pricing and quality control and getting the finished product where it needs to be, our production team is responsible for ensuring we keep our standards high and our business profitable at every step of the journey. Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Production Manager contributes to the seasonal production process by managing the placement, execution and follow-up of manufacturing orders and by ensuring the timely delivery of quality, profitable goods.

 

Operations and Results:

  • Partner with Design and Sales to ensure timely execution of product development calendar
  • Perform daily tracking of goods on order, in progress (WIP) and in-transit to ensure timely delivery according to development calendar; create and distribute production status reports; follow-up with vendors, factories and Design/Merchandising as needed
  • Assign tech packs to vendors in PLM
  • Follow up with and track buyer samples for various brands
  • Maintain clear records of fabric and garment test reports from vendors by brand/season
  • Communicating customer floor ready requirements to overseas merchandisers and vendors where needed
  • Partner with merchandisers to confirm accuracy of size breaks, tickets, and item information in SAP
  • Coordinate records of purchase orders (POs); coordinate tracking of all pre-production samples and stock deliveries
  • Maintain fabric/trim library, in partnership with Design; trim inventory/liability inventory, and production archives library
  • Assist Manager in product development with Merchandising, Design and Sales to ensure correct execution of products and attainment of agreed-upon margin goals; assist in negotiations on pricing to ensure profitability, where appropriate; track customs classification coordination with Imports
  • Identify and raise quality and technical issues with factories, mills, vendors and team(s); track capacity and performance of vendors for Manager

Customers & Relationships:

  • Build collaborative relationships, coordinate interoffice communication and follow-up with internal and external customers
  • Perform special projects as assigned

  • Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary

  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
  • Creativity, technical capability and sensibility for merchandising/design
  • Knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 - 5 years experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, CAD and Mac computers

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000

The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
