We are seeking a proactive Project Officer to support the enhancement and streamlining of the University’s credit database. Working closely with academics, teachers, the Academic Partnerships Adviser, partner institutions and students, you will use the Academic Information Management System (AIMS), the credit precedent database and associated systems to deliver accurate, student‑focused outcomes.

 

In this role, you will analyse learning outcomes from external institutions against CQUniversity course and unit profiles to ensure appropriate credit matching and contribute to the ongoing growth and integrity of the credit database. You will manage and maintain the University’s Precedent Database, including regular auditing to ensure currency and streamlining processes where possible.

 

You will support the monitoring and maintenance of partnership and articulation agreement records, undertake accurate data entry, statistical reporting and contribute to general administrative and promotional activities. Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, you will work cooperatively with colleagues to deliver consistent, professional outcomes, with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Position Requirements

 

  • A degree with relevant experience; or extensive specialist expertise with broad knowledge in technical/administrative fields; or equivalent education/training.
  • Ability to quickly acquire and apply knowledge of University policies, procedures, priorities, strategies and functions, with proven capacity to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Highly developed skills in liaising, consulting, advising and negotiating with key stakeholders, including experience with managing review processes.
  • Proven ability to work independently using sound judgment and initiative.
  • Understanding of the Australian Qualifications Framework and/or the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (desirable).
