We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer or a Senior Lecturer in Medical Imaging to join our team. You will contribute to teaching across undergraduate courses, postgraduate supervision, and research, while supporting curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives. This role involves delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical classes, coordinating units, and engaging with clinical partners to enhance student learning. As a Senior Lecturer, you may also lead research projects, mentor academic staff, and play a key role in strategic planning and committee work. Position Requirements

 

  • Current registration in Australia as a medical radiation practitioner (diagnostic radiography).
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in the field of medical radiation practice.
  • Progress or completion of a post-graduate credential in health practice or tertiary education.
  • Current knowledge of industry standards and practices within Medical Imaging.
  • Ability to contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a teaching qualification (e.g. Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education).

 

Additional requirements for Senior Lecturer

 

  • Completion of a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Medical Radiation Sciences, Tertiary Education or other related fields.
  • Proven track record of leadership in teaching and/or research within Medical Imaging.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure research funding and produce high-quality publications.
  • Capacity to lead curriculum innovation and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (Desirable).
