Looking for hands-on work where no two days are the same, CQUniversity is seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Officer – Painter to join our Facilities Management team. This is a practical, people-focused role supporting the upkeep and presentation of our vibrant campus environment.

In this position, you will deliver a wide range of maintenance services with a strong focus on painting and surface preparation, while also supporting broader facilities operations across campus.

Position Requirements

 

  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements and demonstrated ability to work in compliance with WH&S provisions.
  • Knowledge, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge, of simple tasks involving labour, minor maintenance, minor workplace upkeep and limited grounds care skills.
  • Completion of a trades certificate; or completion of year 12 with relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education/training.
