
Find your purpose as a Release of Information Assistant II at CentraCare. As a Release of Information Assistant II you will apply critical thinking to analyze, coordinate and process moderate to complex requests for the release of health information in an organized, efficient, and confidential manner. You would be required to have knowledge of current release of health information regulations set forth by the State of Minnesota, the Federal Government, HIPAA, and other regulatory bodies. Ability to use and interpret the Minnesota "Legal Manual" on release of information. Effectively correspond to insurance companies, representatives, patients, medical and legal offices, and attorneys. You would also be responsible for billing of health records sent to requestors and maintain all ROI work queues.
