About this role

Summary

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Trauma Center plays a critical role at Rice Memorial Hospital. This position involves assessing patient needs, implementing nursing interventions with less predictable outcomes, and evaluating their effectiveness for a diverse patient population. At this level, the nurse may also be expected to take on leadership responsibilities as required.

 

Schedule

  • 72 hours every 2 weeks 
  • Rotating day, evening and night shifts
  • Includes every other weekend
  • Rotating holidays

 

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay based on experience and degree
    • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $40.79 per hour
    • Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $41.14 per hour
    • Master’s in nursing starting at $43.20 per hour
  • Pay range: $40.79 - $61.76 per hour
  • $3,500 Hiring bonus!
  • $5,000 Relocation bonus (if applicable)!

Qualifications 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure in the State of Minnesota.
  • Understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients of all ages in relation to the growth and development processes to include adult and geriatric patients.
  • New grads welcome! We offer a Nurse Residency Program, partnered with St. Cloud Hospital, for your first year along with a monthly mentorship program. 

 

CentraCare pay promotions to include but not limited to Hiring Bonuses and Relocation Bonuses may be discontinued at any time due to business needs. 

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Willmar, Minnesota and relocate to within 30 miles any time before and no later than 120 days after you start work. May not have worked for CentraCare in the past nine months.
