About this role

CentraCare – Monticello is looking for a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of imaging modalities, including general x-ray, fluoroscopy, and CT to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries. You will ensure patient safety by reviewing pertinent information, such as medical history and lab values, and following proper radiation safety protocols. Additionally, you’ll assess patient conditions before administering contrast media, ensuring accurate positioning and technique to capture the necessary images.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to provide high-quality care. You’ll communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and offering discharge instructions as needed. This position also involves maintaining accurate records, participating in departmental quality assurance, and contributing to ongoing process improvements. Schedule:

  • Full-Time | 80 hours every two weeks 
  • Evening Shift | 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. | Monday - Friday
  • No weekends! | Rotating Holidays- 12 hour Day or Night shifts
     

Pay and Benefits:

  • $32.18 per hour, pay determined by experience
    • Pay range: $32.18 - $48.97 per hour
  • Offering up to $12,500 in hiring incentives! Choose between $7,500 in student loan repayments or $3,750 hiring bonus and $5,000 for relocation assistance

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program from an accredited school.
  • ARRT certification 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider card required upon start.
     

Join the Monticello Hospital team:

  • 25-bed critical access hospital including Birthing Center, Medical/Surgical Unit, Pediatrics, and ICU
  • 10-bed Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit.
  • Extensive Outpatient Services: Level IV Emergency Department with ambulance service, Heart Care, Surgical Services, Sleep Center, Diabetes & Nutrition Education, Integrated Behavioral Health, Vascular Care, and Wound Care.
  • Full Imaging, Laboratory Services, and Respiratory Therapy. 

 

To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. Restrictions apply to relocation bonus. To qualify for the relocation bonus, the candidate must live at least 50 miles away from hired location and relocate within 30 miles of primary work location.
