About this role

As a Rad Tech at CentraCare, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety, operating X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images, and maintaining accurate patient records. You’ll work with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals you can trust to provide the best care possible for our patients. We welcome new grads and experienced technologists to apply!

SCHEDULE

  • Full time | 80 hours every two weeks
  • Monday-Friday | Day shift 
  • Every 6th weekend | Saturday + Sunday | 9:00am-9:00pm
  • Rotating call | Sunday-Thursday: 9:00pm -7:00am; Friday + Sat: 9:00pm-9:00am
  • Rotating Holidays

PAY & BENEFITS

  • Starting pay begins at $34.46 per hour and increases with experience | Shift differentials
    • Pay range:  $34.46-51.71/hour
  • $15,000 Student loan repayment OR $7,500 hiring bonus | $5,000 Relocation Bonus for eligible candidates

QUALFICIATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree as Radiology Technologist or Associate Degree in Radiology
  • Member of AART or registry eligible within 6 months of hire. Pursues on-going continuing education relevant to position and sufficient to maintain ARRT certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Must maintain current BLS
  • Must have the ability to perform or assist with additional specialized radiographic procedures such as mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • 1 year employment must be experienced in Bone densitometry (Dexa) or willing to train.
  • Must be will to train or be proficient in performing CT exams, EKGs, and use of mobile C-ARM and imaging exams
  • Must have the ability to perform general and specialized diagnostic radiology
  • Imaging procedures in multiple care settings including clinic, urgent care, emergency room, surgery, and other hospital and clinic settings.

 

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Waite Park and relocate within 30 miles of Waite Park. CentraCare hiring incentives to include but not limited to, hiring and relocation bonuses may be discontinued at any time.
