About this role

Join the CentraCare team as a Patient Care Extender in our fast-paced Urgent Care Center located at the CentraCare Plaza. 

A PCE is responsible for assisting licensed medical staff in the quality treatment of patients and functions as a vital team member in providing patient/family centered care through tasks including wound irrigation, cleaning/dressing applications, crutch sizing, cleaning and stocking treatment rooms, documenting patient activity, and more. 

Schedule:

  • Full Time | 60 hours every 2 weeks
  • 12-hour shifts 7am-7:30pm and 9am-9:30pm variable days Sunday-Saturday, every 3rd weekend, and rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits: 

  • Pay starting at $17.49 per hour and up based on experience.
    • Pay range $17.00 to $25.54

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required; can be obtained internally upon hire
