About this role

Find your purpose as the Manager of CentraCare Urgent Care!  Here you will hold a key leadership role in the overall management operations of the Plaza Urgent Care, Virtual Urgent Care and eClinic Services. In this role, you will have primary responsibility and authority of day-to-day operations within the departments. Create a clinical environment that is efficient for staff and pleasant for patients and families. You will collaborate closely with the physicians, providers, and charge nurses to ensure the operation runs smoothly and efficiently for physicians and patients. You will effectively communicate and work with staff and providers to ensure optimum patient care and clinic efficiency. 

Schedule:

  • Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Pay & Benefits: 

  • Starting pay begins at $90,735.89 per year and increases with experience.
    • Salary range: $90,735.89 - $136,125.75 per year
    • Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE; reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of MN preferred
  • Experience in acute care setting (Urgent Care, Urgency Center, ER) preferred.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong skill set in conflict resolution.

Core Functions:

  • Plans, coordinates and directs day-to-day clinic operations. Formulate site policies and procedures while administering CentraCare policies appropriately. 
  • Work with leadership teams and physicians to solve problems, implement, and improve processes to improve patient access, staff engagement, and patient experience.
  • Maintain two-way communication between leadership and staff providing ongoing feedback on division, section, clinic-wide and section/department goals, and objectives.  Provides an open environment with a range of mechanisms for staff to voice concerns, give feedback or make suggestions.
  • Demonstrates follow through and effective problem-solving activities with staff, customers, physicians, and other departments.
  • Help staff develop individual plans to meet career goals through educational, mentoring, and other self-growth opportunities.
  • Promote an environment conducive to positive and collaborative working relationships.  Develop and sustain teamwork and staff satisfaction to maintain optimal workforce.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team through Relationship-Based Care, to support a healthy work environment and ensure a culture of safety.
  • Communicate and advocate for all staff.  Remains accessible to all staff on an ongoing basis and makes self-available in the department by being visible.
  • Develop staffing plans and schedule for all provider and non-provider staff in areas of responsibility to provide adequate coverage and to promote patient and employee satisfaction while maintaining employee expenses within the established budget.
  • Interview, selects/hires, and coordinates orientation to develop qualified personnel.
