Summary
- Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients are discharged.
- Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms.
- Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids.
Schedule
Fulltime, 80 hours per two weeks.
Both Day and Evening, 8-hour shifts
Includes every 4th weekend and holiday rotation
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $16.98 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience.
Full Pay range: $15.74 - $23.62 per hour

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
- Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required.
- Ability to use cleaning items and cleaning products, including but not limited to mops, floor cleaners, scouring pads, buffers and vacuums.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position during the assigned shift.
- Ability to care for equipment, measure cleaning products and be alert to potential hazards.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
