
Job DetailsJob Location: New Braunfels - New Braunfels, TX 78132Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: DayThe Camp Travis Men's Director will work with the Camp Travis Director to successfully execute T Bar M’s Camp Travis (CT) by leading a group of college-aged summer staff in the facilitation of our overnight teenage camp. This position is located in New Braunfels during the school year months and relocates to our Lake Travis property from May through August each year.
Key Duties
Summer staff shared Director responsibilities
Train, lead, and evaluate summer staff
Problem solve and interface with summer staff
Oversee the development and investment in Leadership Team
Year-round investment with summer staff
Actively participate in staff follow up communications (email, social media, campus visits, etc.)
Overnight staff recruiting - participate in recruiting trips, interviews, evaluation/hiring
Camper shared responsibilities
Problem solve/interface with campers daily during camp
Actively participate in parent follow up communications (e-mail, phone, etc.)
Primary focus is non-activity programming (Opening/Closing day, Main Thing, Theme Nights, Skits, Cabin clean up, etc.)
Execute all programming plans created during the year
Direct, lead and oversee the programs team and guys leadership covenant
Provide leadership to programs videographer in making program specific videos
Oversee weekly collection/organization of camper contact info/ratings
Plan CT programming in conjunction with CT Directors
Dream, create, plan and execute all Theme Nights/Race/Main Thing/Skits
Dream, create, build and improve existing activity periods (Escape Room, etc.)
Develop, film, and edit videos/posters/etc. for programming
Recruiting
Line up strategic extracurricular announcements (social media)
Promote to staff via text, social media
Assist and/or support sponsored retreats (F/S, Leadership Retreats, etc.)
Participate in all T Bar M Camp Director planning and training sessions that you are able to.

Compensation for the Camp Travis Men’s Director will be competitive with the market for similar roles and responsibilities. T Bar M Camps has a competitive benefits package.
Center for Christian Growth, Inc.
Center for Christian Growth, Inc. (CCG), d/b/a T Bar M and T Bar M Camps, is a 501(c)3 public charity, headquartered in New Braunfels, Texas. CCG operates a retreat/conference center, multiple camps—youth, teen and family camps—in New Braunfels, at Lake Travis near Austin and at select Texas cities (mobile day camps known as Discover252). During the school year, CCG is host to various organizations, associations, churches, companies as well as rental groups from schools, churches, and other organizations seeking Christian education in outdoor retreat settings. CCG also operates a discipleship training program for a select group of recent college graduates. CCG is governed by a Board of Trustees.
