Under general supervision of the Category Director – Global Indirect Category Management, the Sourcing Manager I is responsible for the management of Indirect Sourcing programs including global Travel, Purchasing Card strategy, Feet Management and Office Supplies. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of these programs including traveler support, data analysis, and new implementations (as needed).  The Sourcing Manager I will also support the Category Management team in development, execution and compliance of indirect sourcing strategies to maximize the overall value to Cencora.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing Cencora’s Corporate Programs including global travel, fleet management, and office supplies based on the direction of the Category Director.
• Owns and manages the tactical support for Cencora Corporate Programs including global travel, fleet management, and office supplies. Escalates issues to the Category Director as required.
• Creates and drives collaboration with internal stakeholders at the various Cencora business units as well as external vendors to optimize value on indirect spend.
• Assists in the identification and selection of suppliers to meet the needs identified across the company in support of the Corporate Programs category team’s strategies.
• Represents and positions Cencora favorably with suppliers and acts as an advocate for Cencora interests relative to suppliers' actions and policies.
• Provides and maintains data analysis and dashboards to promote programs under management.
• Manages strategic account relationships with senior management of supplier organizations and can resolve supplier related issues as required.

Education:

• Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations
• generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Work experience:

• Normally requires a minimum of three (3) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Outstanding knowledge of product and supplier base, product relationships and industry trends
• Working knowledge of sales, purchasing, supply chain management and/or inventory management principles and
• methodologies
• Exceptional contract management and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment
• Ability to deal with confrontational issues in a positive manner
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Excellent negotiation skills and contract optimization skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Outstanding problem solving skills and ability to apply the appropriate tools and level of analysis to specific situations

• Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
• Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
