We're hiring the Business Project Manager to join our Global Supply Chain team at Cencora.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project status and pending issues; analyzes processes and makes recommendations for optimizing resources and product delivery.
Responsible for continuous improvement of processes and methodologies used in fulfilling responsibilities; contributes to refinement of program management methodology.
Develops project plans based on specifications provided by the Portfolio Management staff and manages effective execution of the initiatives.
Builds consensus among multiple process leads relative to project scope, task execution, staffing and issue resolution.
Brokers services within IT and ABC vendors on behalf of the business area represented.
Assists with overall financial direction for the projects to manage the development of budgets, controls and measurements to monitor project progress.
Identifies potential risks within the project; proactively manages issues.
Assists with participation in identifying project costs, resource allocation, project schedule changes and issue escalation.
Interacts with IT staff including business area management, portfolio managers, vendors, consultants and other contractors.
Must be willing to travel up to 35% of the time.
Performs related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor’s Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education; PMI certification or equivalent project management methodology training and hours.
Extensive proven experience of (5 to 7) years directly related and progressively responsible experience, including at least two (2) years experience at a senior manager or equivalent level; normally requires a professional license or certificate in specialized field.
