National Business Development Manager – High-Level & Safe Access.
Location: Ideally London or Birmingham based
Uni-Safe Access are recruiting a National Business Development Manager to take ownership of a newly created, high-impact role within the business. This is a rare opportunity to shape, lead, and grow a national function from the ground up, with a clear pathway into senior leadership as the business continues to expand.
This role is designed for a commercially astute BDM with strong high-level access experience, who thrives on building strategic relationships, identifying complex opportunities, and driving sustainable national growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across national and regional markets, including new clients, frameworks, partnerships, and service offerings
- Develop and deliver strategic business development plans
- Build, manage, and nurture senior-level relationships with clients, consultants, Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors, and supply chain partners
- Maintain and grow key accounts
- Lead high-level sales presentations, tenders, and proposals, clearly articulating complex high-level and safe access solutions
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
- Maintain strong awareness of legislation, standards, best practice, and market developments within high-level access and construction
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and regulatory changes
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and manage pipelines
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing technical and commercial insight into access solutions, compliance, and risk mitigation
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Ideal Background
- Strong experience in high-level access and safe access solutions
- Background within construction, engineering, or facilities management environments
- Proven experience working with Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors, FM providers, consultants, and end users
- Comfortable operating at a national, strategic level
Experience Requirements
- Extensive business development and consultative sales experience
- Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Proven success winning new business and developing long-term, sustainable client relationships
- Experience within high-level access, safe access, construction, or FM sectors highly advantageous
