Our community is looking for a HVAC Technician to join our extraordinary Plant Operations team! If you are passionate about serving others and are looking for a new opportunity, we would love to chat with you! The HVAC Technician performs skilled, complex work relating to the repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment/systems.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine and preventive maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems. 
  • Installs heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment for the purpose of providing enhances and/or upgraded capabilities.
  • Diagnoses cause of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning/refrigeration systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or system repair and or/or replacement needs.
  • Inspects HVAC systems and their components (E.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, boilers, etc.) for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventative maintenance.
  • Utilizes time in efficient manner, competing duties in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Skills

  • Minimum two years of experience in HVAC role in commercial setting.
  • Universal EPA Refrigeration Certificate.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
