About this role

Job description:

The CNA – Home Health Scheduler assists the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living. The CNA – Home Health Scheduler is also responsible for scheduling staff, as well as maintaining and monitoring accuracy of hours worked. Must be flexible with regards to hours and may include working some weekends.

Position available: Full-Time; Days: varied

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school graduate.

2. Successful completion of a State approved Nurse aide program. Prior geriatric experience is preferred. Registration with state personnel health registry required.

3. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively,

and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given to clients in our system.

4. If you are required to drive a golf cart, you must have a valid and active Driver License issued from any state and successful completion of the Cypress of Raleigh’s golf cart training program. If you are using one of the Cypress vehicles to drive a member, you must have a good driving record and valid and active driver license from any state.

5. Must be able to concentrate with frequent interruptions.

6. Good judgment to plan, perform and set-up sequences within standard procedure.

7. One year experience in a health care setting; preferably in long term care.

2-5 years experience Home Care staff scheduling preferred.

8. State health personnel registry required.

9. ERSP Software experienced is a plus.
