Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Planning and Schedule Management, you will plan and co-ordinate the steps involved in scheduling content, review and validate the broadcast schedule, and implement appropriate solutions in line with CRTC conditions of licence and broadcast standards as well as CBC/Radio-Canada standards.
Key responsibilities:
Review tentative programming and broadcast schedules; identify potential programming or broadcast conflicts and, if necessary, propose alternative solutions; identify action items and follow up on their completion.
Contribute to schedule planning; develop or update tentative schedules.
Enter programming schedules into the broadcast management system and assign the required coding.
Co-ordinate programming changes in accordance with established standards and guidelines; contact the relevant departments and ensure proper follow-up.
Create programming frameworks and co-ordinate the associated content for insertion.
Respond to inquiries from staff within your department, as well as from production and presentation teams, and resolve any issues that arise.
Help improve departmental processes and systems by making suggestions and testing changes made to systems.
This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.

Qualifications:
College diploma (DSC)
Three (3) or more years’ experience
Skills:
Nice-to-haves: strong proficiency in a broadcast management systems and Google Workspace tools
Good knowledge of Radio-Canada television programming
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Methodical and detail-oriented approach
Innovative and resourceful approach to resolving operational issues and making recommendations
Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
Solid command of spoken and written French
Proficiency in English is an asset
