Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity.
  • Utilizes proper body mechanics.
  • Moving, positioning and transferring patients without assistance or with assistance when needed for patient safety.
  • Performs routine diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures:
  • This includes, but not limited to: abdomen, pelvis, major vessels, and small parts including breast, thyroid, testicular.
  • Doppler Studies of Carotid, Abdomen, Pelvis, Small Parts, and Peripheral vascular exams.
  • Assist in breast biopsy procedures.
  • May include OR procedures.
  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness.
  • Communicates and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients, families and healthcare team in person and via telephone.

Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent,

Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school.

Licensure/Certification:

Registered with ARDMS or eligible within 6 months of employment is required.



Salary Range

USD $55.65 - USD $61.22 /Hr.



This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
