Overview

Catholic Health Good Shepherd Hospice is looking for compassionate, caring RNs to provide End of Life care to patients in our 12 bed Inpatient Hospice Unit.

  • Overnight per diem role (7:00PM to 7:30AM) 
  • Per diems must work at least 6 shifts per month


Job Details

Our Hospice RN’s:

The Inpatient Hospice RN is responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family in our 12 bed unit located in Rockville Center, inside Mercy Hospital. 

 

Patient care focuses on on symptom management and pain control. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures. Prior experience in home care, hospice and/or oncology preferred.

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Current and valid NY State license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • One to two years recent general bedside nursing experience with good clinical skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year of recent hands on experience
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)


Salary Range

USD $51.00 - USD $66.50 /Hr.



This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
