Overview

Catholic Health Physicians Practices strives to deliver clinically excellent medical care to our patients.

We are looking for an EEG Tech / Neuro Tech who will provide the highest quality of patient care by being an integral part of the clinical team.


Job Details

DUTIES:

  • Entry of patient demographic and clinical data to support reporting and/or integration with electronic medical record Performs all EEG's with an emphasis on quality tracings. 
  • Individual must also be competent in evoked response testing, including VER/BAER/SSEP testing. 
  • Responsibilities include management of equipment calibration and maintenance, ensuring adequate inventory level for all related consumable supplies, ordering of such supplies, and the set up and clean up of testing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School graduate or G.E.D. Successful completion of EEG training from an accredited school.
  • Must be competent in detection of cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Minimum 1 year previous experience in acute care setting preferred: 
  • New graduates accepted.
  • REEG certification preferred, but not mandatory if candidate by experience. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to operate EEG and Neurodiagnostic Testing equipment.
  • Position requires extended periods of both walking and sitting.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, reach, handle/finger delicate objects.
  • Must be able to lift and position patients.
  • Excellent verbal and auditory skills required for communicating clearly and effectively with patients, physicians, families, care team members, other hospital departments.
  • Ability to cope with physical and emotional stress.
  • Ability to communicate in a tactful, diplomatic way.
  • Ability to handle information with strict confidentiality.
  • Willingness to upgrade skills with evolvement of technology.


Salary Range

USD $23.98 - USD $38.66 /Hr.



This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
