Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately process patient room-service meal orders and keep call queues running smoothly.
- Verify diet orders in the CBORD system and communicate any questions with patients, nursing staff, or dietitians.
- Coordinate meal-related concerns with kitchen staff and ensure reports—such as enteral feeding lists and floor census—are completed and delivered on time.
- Provide friendly, compassionate service to patients and families over the phone and in person.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with supervisors, management, and other departments.
- Proactively address concerns and assist in creating a positive meal-service experience.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of food and nutrition services experience
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered attitude
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
