Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Specimen registration, specimen accessioning, specimen sendouts
- Organization and distribution of laboratory’s daily workload (specimens and pathology slides)
- Retrieving and filing of laboratory records; slides, paraffin blocks, paper records
- Tracking of materials to and from multiple lab locations
- Specimen disposal/ waste disposal in accordance with governing agencies
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Prior experience working in a lab preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-pace environment
- Understands department priorities
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- High school graduate, college education preferred
Salary Range
USD $23.98 - USD $29.97 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.

What you'll do
- The Central Receiving Coordinator is responsible for specimen registration, accessioning, and organization of the laboratory's daily workload. They also track materials to and from multiple lab locations and ensure proper disposal of specimens.
