General Responsibilities

  

  1. Ensure services are rendered with compassion and respect, promoting financial stability.
  2. Conduct initial visits with clients, complete annual redeterminations, and serve clients in the absence of volunteers.
  3. Follow through on client referrals, complete assessments, and monitor volunteer/client placements.
  4. Ensure documentation requirements and timeframes are met.
  5. Attend initial meetings with volunteers and clients, providing program orientation.
  6. Ensure volunteers and clients follow established program policies and procedures.
  7. Inform Program Manager of any challenges or concerns in a timely manner.
  8. Maintain program records to ensure compliance with agency, funding source, and accreditation standards.
  9. Maintain ongoing contact with clients, volunteers, and program advisory council.
  10. Represent the agency and promote the program through community engagement.
  11. Assist in recognizing volunteers and maintaining accurate program records.
  12. Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.

Requirements

  

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human services, business, or related field, or three years of relevant experience.
  2. Minimum one year of experience in human services, volunteer management, banking, or similar environment.
  3. Experience with older adults or disability services preferred.
  4. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  5. Ability to relate well to persons with disabilities and older adults, respecting their privacy, dignity, and right to self-determination.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Teams).
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Successful background clearance and other required testing.
  9. Support for the Codes of Ethics by Catholic Charities USA, NASW, and APA.
  10. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of liability insurance.
