Description
General Responsibilities:
- Operate as a member of the Daybreak team as needed.
- Prepare menus that are nutritionally balanced and culturally inclusive.
- Ensure daily meal provision and supervise meal preparation, serving, and cleanup.
- Maintain health code standards in the kitchen, pantry, freezers, refrigerators, and dining room.
- Organize and maintain food donations and storage areas.
- Support volunteers and community service workers.
- Participate in company training as required.
- Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in nutrition or human services preferred.
- Valid Food Manager Certification.
- Experience with food service and preparation.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures, family systems, and social backgrounds.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Passage of background clearance, TB test, and other required testing.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of liability insurance.
