Job Summary :
- This position will execute data governance/quality and implementation execution, validation support, training, and strategy support for Google Analytics (GA) 360 Suite of products for all websites/applications under Caterpillar’s Google Analytics contract and act as an extension of Caterpillar India Google Analytics team.
- This position would be responsible for the below activities in Google analytics
- GA tracking setup validations
- Support to site development teams
- Setting up tracking as per needs for specific enterprise objectives, platform/system architecture and account design
- GA Attribute collection set up for
- Cross site/domain clickstream data collection
- User id (known contact) journey path collection
- Enhanced ecommerce for sales attribution
- Custom dimension and metrics collection for expanded analysis capabilities
- Event/ behaviour tracking
- Referral exclusion execution for improved data quality for users crossing enterprise sites,
- Data auditing, goal configuration for enterprise KPIs
- GTM tag and trigger configurations
- 3rd party integrations with additional Caterpillar purchased platforms,
- Server Side tracking execution
- Integration and use of Google and third party related APIs
Education Requirements:
- Google Analytics Individual Qualification Certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer engineering or related field required plus 8+ years of relevant experience
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the document object model related to analytics tagging with Google Tag Manager
- Advanced Implementation Experience in GTM
- Working Knowledge on GA4 Interface
- Knowledge of SQL for data science analysis and reporting
- Cookie consent management experience (One Trust) related to Google marketing platform data collection.
- Experience demonstrating analytical capabilities to various levels of leadership.
- Experience with Digital Marketing technologies, including campaign tracking and Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud Google Analytics integrations.
- GA4 implementation for Mobile Sites and implementation Experience on GA4 Firebase Analytics are nice to have
