Summary of Performance Expectations.
Performs venous punctures to collect blood specimens for analysis.

Education and Credentials:

Required
High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of an approved phlebotomy program or minimum of three months experience.

Work Experience:

Required
No previous experience required if certified in phlebotomy. One year of experience in an approved laboratory. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
