Summary of Performance Expectations:
Performs a variety of imaging modalities under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon
Education & Credentials:
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology. Current ARRT or RCIS registration.
BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date. ACLS within one year of employment date.
Work Experience:
Required
Previous experience in IR/Vascular, Cardiac Cath, or EP preferred. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
If no previous experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within twelve months of employment date.
