Front-End Software Engineer

Everything from the mobile applications interactions with the hardware devices, to advanced reporting workflows on the web.</p> <p>Based in London, you will be a key player in the Engineering team working on the Perch family of applications. You’ll contribute to Perch’s UI applications, which interact with the Perch 3D camera system and power planning, data collection, and data analysis of weightlifting. Perch’s applications are written in modern frameworks, and provide exciting challenges in distributed systems, real-time data processing, and creating insightful user experiences for elite athletes and coaches. Reporting to a Senior Director of Engineering, the primary responsibility of the Frontend Engineer is to develop software solutions for the elite sports industry.&nbsp; You will be responsible for the development cycle and ensuring that our products have a high level of quality.</p> <p>We believe that our customers deserve to have the leading technology, and we are on a mission to make the best possible products to enhance their performance.&nbsp; Our engineers drive this ethos by making sure all of this technology comes together in a way our customers love to use.</p> <h3><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO&nbsp;</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.</li> <li>Build and maintain React Native mobile applications and React web applications</li> <li>Engage in architectural discussions to help design scalable and resilient systems.</li> <li>Work directly with Product and Design on scoping and designing features</li> <li>Work in multidisciplinary teams and interface with other engineers in our team and across various domains.</li> <li>Document your work in a shared knowledge base platform.</li> <li>Work with test engineers to resolve issues.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>WHAT YOU’LL NEED</strong></h3> <ul> <li>At least 4 years of software development experience.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience programming in Typescript, Javascript, and React</li> <li>Ability to reason about and debug complex systems and applications</li> <li>Experience with Git code management is highly desired.</li> </ul> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Very strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Proven self-starter.</li> <li>Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.</li> <li>Ability to prioritise and a “can-do” attitude.</li> <li>Occasionally providing technical assistance to our customer support team</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHY CATAPULT?&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>We have amazing people.
