Overview

Classroom Aide

GEC School | Full-time | Columbus, OH 

 

Schedule: 5 days a week, 9:00a-3:00p. 

Pay rate: $18-$20/hr depending on experience 

 

 


Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the implementation of academic instructional programs, class work, and assessments for students. 
  • Maintain program instructional materials and computer lab components.
  • Conduct attendance and program tracking and reports.
  • Monitor students’ computer use and behavior to keep them on task.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment as you maintain the confidentiality of students and families.

  • The payrate for this role is between $17-$19/hr

Qualifications

What we’ll need from you:  

The positive, enthusiastic tutor we seek has these qualifications.  

  • Individuals with an associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher education; or at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours).
  • OH Education Aide license as required by contract.
  • Experience working in a classroom setting preferred.
