Overview

High School Part-Time Intervention Specialist - Certified Teacher (Reading and Math)

Houston, TX | Part-Time | Weekdays | School Hours |  $23.50-$25/hour

 

Make a daily impact with small group teaching in reading and math.


Catapult Learning is hiring a Part-Time Intervention Specialist to deliver in-person reading and math intervention to 9–12 students in Houston-area private schools.

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Intervention Specialist, you will:

  • Provide in-person reading and math instruction to small groups of 9–12 students

  • Use Catapult Learning’s evidence-based curriculum and lesson plans

  • Customize instruction to meet student needs and skill levels

  • Create a positive, engaging learning environment

  • Track academic progress and maintain accurate records

  • Collaborate with school staff to support student success

Schedule and Location:

  • Part-time, Monday–Friday during school hours

  • On-site at private schools across Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $23.50 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications


Qualifications

What we’ll need from you: 

 
  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Active teaching certification (required)
  • Experience teaching both reading and math in a K–12 setting
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to helping all students grow and succeed
