After School Tutor
Part-time | East Orange, NJ
Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday, 3:00-5:00pm
Program dates: February 22 - April 23
Hourly rate: $35/hr
Catapult Learning is seeking After School Tutors to work with 4-5th grade students at an East Orange performing arts elementary school. The after-school program is 3 days a week, Tuesday-Thursday for 2 hours.
Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Intervention Specialist, you will:
Provide in-person reading and math instruction to small groups of 4-5th grade students
Use Catapult Learning’s evidence-based curriculum and lesson plans
Customize instruction to meet student needs and skill levels
Create a positive, engaging learning environment
Track academic progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with school staff to support student success

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Active teaching certification (preferred)
- Experience teaching both reading and math in a K–6 setting
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to helping all students grow and succeed
- Proficient in MS Office, OneDrive, Zoom, etc

Starting from USD $35.00/Hr.
