Sr. Account Director, BioAnalytics

Position Summary:

The Sr. Account Director, BioAnalytics will drive revenue growth for our biologics analytical services with a particular focus on identifying and closing GMP clinical and commercial related opportunities.  Other responsibilities for the Account Director, BioAnalytics include market intelligence/market research analysis as gained through client interactions, trade show attendance, etc.

This position will drive revenue growth for our biologics analytical services with a particular focus on identifying and closing GLP clinical and commercial related opportunities.  Other responsibilities include market intelligence/market research analysis as gained through client interactions, trade show attendance, etc. 

The Role

  • Proven track-record of developing strong relationships, establishing new clients and closing business in biotech service-based market segment.

  • Demonstrated success in ‘consultative selling’ in a regulated environment.

  • Demonstrated understanding of drug development requirements including preclinical and clinical stages. 

  • Clear understanding of customer informational databases and metrics to define success in selling services to Pharma clients.

  • Exceptional selling, organization, negotiation and communication skills.

  • Experience in developing and negotiating complex contracts specifically.

  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.

  • Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the bio, pharma, medical device industries, or other related industries

  • Experience in developing and negotiating complex contracts specifically

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific area required.  Science related MS, Ph.D. or MBA (with science BS) preferred.

Pay:

The annual pay range for this position in New Jersey is $149,200 - 215,000

The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
