Position Type: On-Call
Pay Range: $22.27 per hour depending on experience
Location: 451 East Travelers Trail, Burnsville, MN 55337
Cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals in our commissary kitchen in Burnsville.
- Package meals to be picked up by our courier service for delivery to our 3 locations (Burnsville, Minnetonka, and Shakopee).
- Assist with ordering food and general supplies.
- Assist with receiving and verifying all food deliveries.
- Assist with maintaining proper inventory for each site.
- Maintain positive communication between the commissary kitchen and households to ensure residents diet needs are being met.
- Maintain all state and federal compliance.
- Experience in commercial and/or quantity cooking equivalent preferred.
- Ability to speak and read English.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with others

Emerald Crest offers a specialized assisted living setting for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia-related conditions. This communal home setting provides a natural, home-like setting to encourage engagement and reduces isolation among residents. Each home consists of 12-15 suites arranged around a warm, friendly, central living and kitchen area. Emerald Crest of Burnsville has 66 beds overall.
