About this role

Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business, is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our staff a float in the West region. You will float between Buffalo, Dassel, Cokato, Maple Plain, Chaska, and Waconia. We offer a competitive wage, benefits, and mileage reimbursement ($.70 / mile). Whether you are just starting out or looking to take the next step, Pro Rehab is a place where your work is valued and your future supported. Position Type: On-Call

Shifts Available:
Monday - Friday with some flexible weekends

Wage Range: $35 - $40 / hour depending on experience.

Location: West Region - includes Buffalo, Dassel, Cokato, Maple Plain, Chaska, and Waconia

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving daily living activities (ADLs).
  • Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and have an Associate’s degree.
  • Must possess a current MN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
  • Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
  • Ability to provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings
