As a Bus Driver, you will drive a bus to help with access for our residents by bringing them to scheduled events. The ideal candidate is a safe, with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards.
Position Type: On-Call
Wage Range: $15 - $16.50 /hour depending on experience
Location: 710 S Kenwood Avenue, Moose Lake, Minnesota 55767
Bus Driver Responsibilities:
- Drive the bus for scheduled resident and employee outings.
- Complete proper documentation for MnDOT including daily logs and quarterly reports.
- Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
- Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, cleaning the bus, etc.
- Complete additional tasks as requested.
- Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.
- Must pass the MnDOT physical examination and a criminal background check.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience working with people with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.
- Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.
