Join Casey's Analytics Solutions team as an Insights Analyst! We’re looking for a passionate individual who can transform data into actionable insights across multiple areas of the business. This role is part of a highly skilled, cross-functional Center of Excellence focused on delivering strategic outcomes through data, technology, and advanced analytics.

As an Insights Analyst, you will collaborate closely with business partners, leaders, team members, and data engineers to deliver meaningful insights and analysis. This role will focus on democratizing data within Casey’s organization by building robust semantic layers, business calculations, and self-service capabilities as well as partnering with Data Engineering to models optimized for report performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consulting to determine the best analytical solution to meet business objectives and desired outcomes
• Solutioning and building enterprise-grade semantic layers and self-service capabilities, empowering consumers with timely and trusted insights
• Performing descriptive and diagnostic analysis through various techniques to tell stories, present, and operationalize analytical findings and results
• Contributing to advancing data literacy, governance, and a data-driven culture across the organization

Compensation:

Starting pay range:‏‏‎ $81,200‏‏‎ ‎-‏‏‎ ‎$111,700.‏‏‎ Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent years of related work experience
• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics or engineering
• Advanced Power BI skills strongly preferred, including experience with data modeling and DAX
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using advanced analytical and statistical skills, particularly with business intelligence development and delivery
• Ability to work with various, disparate data sources as well as data storage technologies to create analytical-ready datasets
• Understanding of statistical methods and techniques to deliver diagnostic and descriptive analysis
• Expertise in leveraging data visualizations to make data more digestible and meaningful

Preferred Technical Experience:

• Data modeling, including dimensional modeling and star schema
• Proficiency in data extraction, modeling, transformation, and statistical and business calculation languages, including SQL, Power BI DAX/M, and Python/PySpark
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence companion tools, such as Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit, and DAX Studio
• Knowledge of data cloud platforms, databases, and surrounding ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Experience using source control (Azure DevOps, GitHub) and CI/CD as part of a Business Intelligence workflow is a plus
