About the role

Carrier is seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our Digital Factory Connected Supply Chain team. This role is essential for designing, developing, and supporting applications that deliver value to the company, leveraging Low-Code/No-Code platforms and agile methodologies. Your work will directly impact efficiency, scalability, and innovation in our digital operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Web Developer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Designing and building solutions using the OutSystems platform (Low-Code/No-Code).

  • Working in agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Managing DevOps processes for Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment.

  • Creating reports and technical documentation.

  • Providing user support through ticketing systems (ServiceNow).

  • Proposing solutions based on requirements from Product Owners and Business Analysts, ensuring quality, performance, scalability, and reusability.

  • Acting as on-call support for urgent issues during off-hours on a rotational schedule.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • Fluent English communication skills (B2 level).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • Availability to work rotating shifts (AM: 7:00–16:00, PM: 10:00–19:00).

  • Experience in development, analysis, and deployment of web applications.

  • Experience with Low-Code/No-Code platforms.

  • Solid understanding of SCRUM, Lean, and other Agile techniques.

  • Experience creating and consuming APIs.

  • Proficiency in SQL queries (joins, stored procedures, views, etc.).

  • Proficiency in JavaScript.

  • Strong requirement analysis skills and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Basic experience in OutSystems platform development.

  • Knowledge of object-oriented languages (.NET, Java, Python; certification preferred).

  • Good understanding of Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA).
