In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking Senior Management Accountant – Commercial, a role that blends impactful commercial ownership with supportive, people‑centred leadership. 

With responsibilities spanning month‑end processes, judgement‑based accounting, issue resolution and continuous improvement, the role plays a key part in strengthening how financial insight is delivered to the business. Alongside this, you’ll foster a positive, developmental environment — coaching team members, sharing knowledge, and creating space for individuals to thrive as they build their careers in finance.

Role Overview

  • Lead the onboard revenue accounting activity, covering pre‑cruise and on‑cruise revenue streams.
  • Identify and resolve accounting issues, including areas requiring judgement, with clear communication of impacts.
  • Provide commercial insight across evolving revenue initiatives, including all‑inclusive beverage packages, digital booking channels, and new onboard propositions.
  • Manage and develop team members within an expanding revenue portfolio.

This role is positioned at CUK08 level within our organisation and is available on a full‑time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Qualified accountant with strong technical competence.
  • Experience providing commercial insight and supporting business‑critical decision‑making.
  • Ability to lead and develop junior team members, including apprentices in structured study programmes.
  • Confidence partnering across the business to drive understanding and performance.
