We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. This is a hybrid/in office position based in our Fort Lauderdale office. As Supervisor, Commercial Operations you’ll be responsible for overseeing and creating new voyage build and deployments, including Redeployments in POLAR. You’ll also be in charge of building and maintaining Special Service Item, Future Cruise Credit, Payment Penalty Controls and the Booking Health Report. This motivated, proactive leader will also build and maintain relationships internally with business and shipboard partners and externally with both corporate and independent auditors and with management at our sister brands. You must have strong problem solving skills, be detailed oriented and proficient at multi-tasking and prioritization. Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Customer System User Support voyage build team.  Responsible for all new voyage deployments and redeployments being built in POLAR. This includes building the voyages, blocking cabins, and building launch promotions.

  • Oversee the creation on Special Service items in POLAR, working with Onboard teams, Ecommerce and finance for testing and opening of the items.

  • Supervise and support team. Manage workflow of analysts and coordinators, conduct staff meetings, build team continuity, support team with goal development, provide coaching and feedback to team members, monitor team attendance and team scheduling and write annual evaluations.

  • Oversee team’s work of the Booking Health Report Daily.

  • Produce and analyze reporting to ensure voyage building is complete and accurate.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

 

  • Must have proven analytical and reasoning skills and have at least 3 years’ experience using POLAR. 

  • Proven ability to work independently. 

  • Experience with MS Word and Excel at an intermediate skill level. 

  • Experience with Business Objects including building data queries and providing meaningful analysis. 

  • Ability to quickly learn multiple system applications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Must also be able to work in a structured environment.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Must have strong time management skills.

  • Must be able to meet project deadlines.

 

This is a hybrid/in office position, based in our Fort Lauderdale office. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 3 days/week (currently Tuesday-Thursday).
