About this role

The Computer Science Outreach Division at our Qatar campus seeks a highly organized and motivated Events Coordinator and Workshop Developer to support the planning, development, and execution of high-impact educational programs and workshops. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of internal and national events while contributing to the continued growth and success of outreach and educational initiatives.

We are seeking local hires who are already residing in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of internal and national events by coordinating schedules, venues, logistics, and communications to ensure seamless delivery.

Logistics Management: Oversee event setup, participant registration, materials preparation, and on-site resource allocation.

Content Development: Create and update engaging instructional and promotional materials for workshops, presentations, and outreach activities.

Technical Preparation: Set up, test, and maintain hardware and technical equipment required for hands-on workshops and demonstrations.

Workshop Delivery: Facilitate interactive workshop sessions, supporting HBJ programs and advanced educational offerings.

Workshop Design and Enhancement: Collaborate with instructors and program leads to refine existing workshop content and integrate new tools, technologies, and instructional methods.

Qualifications

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Technical proficiency with hardware setup and workshop facilitation.

Excellent communication and content development abilities.
