Core responsibilities include:
Recruitment of potential student-athletes
Demonstrate competency in technique instruction, motivation, and ability to conduct team and individual practice sessions under the direction of the head coach
Game preparation and implementation, video analysis, and opponent scouting
Planning team travel and event management
Demonstrate sincere interest in personal, academic, and athletic progress of student-athletes
Exhibit supportive and cooperative behavior pursuing sport program goals set by the head coach
Leadership ability and professional behavior when working with student-athletes
Transporting team in vans or cars to meets and off campus practice locations
Ability to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends
Teaching in the physical education program, as requested
Covering shifts at recreation desks, as needed
Knowledge of NCAA Division III, UAA Conference rules and policies
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
1-3 years of collegiate coaching experience preferred or experience as a successful collegiate competitor
A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is proven may be considered.
