We’re hiring a Quality Assistant for our Houston, TX client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
- Job Title: Quality Assistant
- Location: Houston, TX
- Pay: $27
- Hours: Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime required as needed on Mon/Fri/Sat)
- Duration: 3 Months (Potential for extension)
- Description of Duties: Conduct high-level dimensional inspections on complex machined parts using hand tools (OD/ID/Blade Mics) and Gagemaker equipment (Rolls, JSS, MRP). You will perform first-article and spot inspections, review vendor documentation (MTRs/COCs), and document findings via NCRs. This role involves heavy collaboration with engineers and vendors to resolve technical discrepancies.
Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of specialized dimensional inspection experience. Proficiency in Gagemaker thread inspection is required; Faro Arm experience is a plus. Candidates must be skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) and demonstrate professional communication skills.
