Role overview

As a Packaging Lab Intern, you will learn to use high-tech equipment to analyze carbonation, oxygen levels, and packaging durability, ensuring that every sip of our beer tastes exactly as the brewmaster intended. This is applicable for the all the can, bottling and kegging line. 

 

Responsibilities:

Documentation

  • Assist in the ISO documentation to ensure the latest version of document in hardcopy and sharepoint – Work Instruction (WI) and Procedure.

 

Specification

  • Ensure the latest specification of packaging material is up-to-date, well maintain the in the sharefolder.
  • Follow up with Supplier on the latest specification and sign off by supplier and QA.

 

Equipment in packaging lab and Audit

  • Able to conduct checks using hazemeter, Anton Paar, TPO- machine, N2 meter and double seam.
  • To create and update the cleaning method/WI and maintenance of the machine.
  • Create a cleaning schedule.

 

Packaging lab – Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR), Non-Conformance (NC) management, ISO Quality Carlsberg Operating Manual (QCOM)

  • Assist in the SCAR and NC compilation and trending are up-to-date including root cause and corrective action.
  • Assist in the gap closure verification in the ISO audit/QCOM audit.

 

QCOM Audit Compliance

  • Follow up on gaps and assist to ensure sustainability of cross functional process in QCOM activities (mandatory).
  • Undertake any additional duties or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Food Technology any other similar qualification.
  • Minimum CGPA 3.0 or Second Class Upper or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to commit for at least 3 months.
  • Proven leadership skills in extra-curricular activities.
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Innovative and systematic with sound analytical skills.
  • High work capacity, self-driven and a team-player.
  • Proactive, action-oriented, persistent and resilient.
  • Passion in the beer industry.
  • Intake period Feb/Mar/Apr
