Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology, has an immediate opening at the Greenville, IL location for a dayshift Traffic Coordinator!
Primary Function:
Facilitate timely delivery of Carlisle products to roofing customers by coordinating with customer service representatives, scheduling shipments with various carriers, and preparing transportation documents.
Duties:
- (30%) Schedule shipments with various carriers for truckload, less-than-truckload (LTL), small package, and specialized service by monitoring the delivery due list in SAP, picking orders to ship, and scheduling the means of transport.
- (25%) Communicate with customer service representatives and transportation schedulers to meet customers’ expectations for delivery, provide freight quotes as needed, and serve as primary contact in problem resolution.
- (10%) Print necessary shipping documents and labels. Calculate and print international custom invoices as needed.
- (15%) Assist with cycle counting, inventory control, and warehouse management activities.
- (20%) Other duties:
- Assist with daily switchboard coverage as needed.
- Assist with planning and executing company functions and special events.
- Provide coverage for Payroll Administrator as needed.
- Review and approve freight invoices and vendor invoices.
- Back up Receiving on SAP-based functions.
- Miscellaneous administration functions.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend a variety of written forms and materials
- Communication: Verbal, written, and typed; correct spelling and grammar
- Software: SAP, Outlook, Excel, and basic computer knowledge
- Math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, percentages

Educational Requirements:
- Education: Associate’s degree in Business or a related field
- Equivalency: High School diploma/GED with 3-5 years of prior traffic experience
Experience:
- 3-5 years of prior traffic experience preferred
